Description
The annual fiber arts exhibition at Pines and Needles draws visitors from across Michigan, and this year it draws something else: a woman with an alibi so neatly constructed it could win a prize of its own.
When a visiting judge is found dead in the exhibition hall and every timeline points to one person, that person’s account of the evening is detailed, consistent, and corroborated by three witnesses. It is also, Roxie is certain, a lie.
Proving it means dismantling the alibi stitch by stitch, and discovering what the three witnesses were really protecting. Kenzie has a theory. It involves the person no one has thought to suspect.
